Just like many of us with pets, Kathleen Cummings fell in love with animals at
an early age. Since then they have become ever-more present in her life. The
attention she lavishes on her own mixed breed Cheyenne, extends to caring for
others' pets with an ease that instills trust for the pet owner.
Working with animals seemed a better fit for Kathleen than following her
business education into the corporate world. For her, caring for companion
animals is a genuine, rewarding and natural labor of love.
By the time her military family settled in New England, travel was in Kathleen's
blood and she followed that urge until visiting Portland, Oregon eight years ago.
She knew in an instant she'd found her new home and has been happily
entrenched here ever since.
Being outdoors is partly what draws her here and with that, getting our pets
outside into the clean (albeit sometimes very wet) air is a pleasurable experience.
Watching our dogs sop up all the smells or our fresh environment is an experience
Kathleen knows many of us enjoy.
